Rebecca D. Crouch-Pelham
Founder & Executive Director
Rebecca Crouch is a visual artist, educator, and creative leader whose work lives at the intersection of art, education, and community impact. A former founding principal and mathematics educator, she has spent her career empowering students, supporting schools, and creating transformative learning experiences through both instruction and the arts. As a multidisciplinary artist working in acrylic, oil, and mixed media, Rebecca is known for creating emotionally rich visual narratives that celebrate resilience, excellence, culture, and human connection. Alongside her twin sister through their creative brand, Signed Rachel & Rebecca, she has painted live at major events across the DMV, completed large-scale murals, and contributed to the region’s vibrant arts community for more than two decades. Rebecca is also the founder of The Color Well Arts & Education, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to arts education and cultivating creativity as a source of healing, growth, and empowerment.
